Developing Wordpress Plugins (2 days)


This course teaches students how to extend the functionality of the Wordpress publishing system. Students attending this class will learn about the internals of Wordpress, it's database access API, and how to extend and modify the functionality of Wordpress to better integrate into their own environment.

Through a combination of lecture and hands on exercises, students attending this course will build and develop a set of Wordpress filters and actions that allow them to gain fluency in the management and enhancement of the Wordpress system.
