Deploying Novell OES (Open Enterprise Server) (Novell 3059) (5 days)


This Open Enterprise Server (Novell OES Linux) course is designed to teach students to use the new NetWare features in Novell Open Enterprise Server and how to install these services in a mixed operating system environment that includes SUSE LINUX. These Novell Linux training classes include multiple lab exercises to practically apply course concepts and reinforce proficiency in Novell & Linux.

Recommended Pre-requisites

  • Developing a plan for Open Enterprise Server implementation
  • Performing basic SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server administrative tasks
  • Installing and configuring basic Open Enterprise Server services on NetWare and SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server
  • Migrating selected Open Enterprise Server (OES) services from NetWare to SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server
  • Monitoring and performing basic troubleshooting of Open Enterprise Server services
